This Alexandria Bay Pharmacy bottle was found near the wreck of the Islander in Alex Bay New York July 2009 while diving with Greg Barlow and Allan Klauda. When I found it it was cracked all the way around the neck. Bringing it to the surface and the change in temp and or pressure caused it to break into two pieces and was subsequently glued back into one piece by museum staff. The Islander sank after burning to the waterline while at the dock almost 100 years ago. Despite being dived by treasure hunters every day items are still discovered even today.
Of course all the divers on this dive dived vintage two hose regulators...
